Cayla Skuran

Cayla Skuran, originally from Schaumburg, IL, currently serves as the Administrative Associate at Giordano Dance Chicago. She graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago in Spring 2025. During her time at Loyola, Cayla earned a B.A. in both Communication Studies and Dance, along with a minor in Mathematics.


While at Loyola, Cayla served as President of the Dance Honors Society, where she organized and developed Dance for Cali—a fundraising event that supported the dance community in Los Angeles, CA following the 2025 Palisades Fires. She led numerous other fundraisers and service initiatives that uplifted the Loyola, Chicagoland, and broader dance communities. During her undergraduate studies, Cayla interned with several notable dance organizations, including Giordano Dance Chicago, Chicago Dance Health Fund, and Chicago DanceMakers Forum. Cayla also worked as the Development Coordinator at Depaul USA, a national homeless services nonprofit organization. 


Alongside her current administrative role, Cayla dances professionally with Ardent Dance Company and The LAUNCH Chicago and teaches dance throughout the Chicagoland area. She is honored to contribute to such an inspiring and influential arts organization and to work alongside talented colleagues while representing a legacy company.
