Claire Calloway

Claire Calloway, hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, embarked on her dance journey at the young age of 3. She received her early training from a local dance studio where she was exposed to jazz, ballet, hip-hop and tap. After spending over a decade in the dance competition realm, with the support of Claire’s family and friends, she continued her formal dance education in Pittsburgh, PA.

In 2020, Claire graduated Cum Laude from Point Park University, earning a BFA in Jazz Dance under the guidance of Garfield Lemonius. During her time at Point Park, Claire had the privilege of showcasing her talent in works by Stephanie Martinez, John Higginbotham, Kiesha Lalama, and Dan Karasik. While studying at Point Park, Claire trained with San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Eisenhower Dance Detroit, and Movement Invention Project.

Following a brief hiatus from performance, Claire relocated to Chicago in August 2022 to join Inaside Chicago Dance. During her time at Inaside, Claire was a featured soloist and ensemble dancer performing works by Sarita Smith-Childs, Robert McKee, and others.

Currently, Claire is savoring her debut season as a dancer with Giordano II, where she is passionately fulfilling her dreams on stage.
