Laura Flores has devoted herself to leaving a lasting mark on the Latin dance scene in Chicago by continuously refining her craft and sharing her knowledge with her students. A seasoned performer, she began her professional journey with Descarga Caribe Dance Company under the visionary direction of Broadway veteran Sekou McMiller. This experience allowed her to work closely with a cutting-edge choreographer who deeply influenced her development as both a dancer and performer.

Following this chapter, Laura expanded her training into the world of Ballroom dance, embracing its discipline and artistry. Committed to mastering her craft, she earned her certification to teach Ballroom and Rhythm styles through DVIDA, a respected standard in the dance world. As co-founder of Mixed Motion Art Dance Academy (MMA), Laura continues to grow as both an instructor and competitor.

Driven by a passion for accessibility in dance, Laura strives to create opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds to experience and learn these techniques. She remains dedicated to inspiring others to pursue growth, artistry, and connection through movement.
