Del Dominguez

Del Dominguez is passionate about making a lasting impact on Chicago’s Latin dance community through both performance and education. He began his professional dance journey with Descarga Caribe Dance Company, working under the direction of Broadway veteran Sekou McMiller. This experience helped shape his artistry and performance quality while exposing him to innovative choreography and high-level training.

After this formative period, Del pursued Ballroom dance, often describing it as “the ballet of partner dancing” for its structure and precision. Dedicated to elevating his craft, he became certified to teach Ballroom and Rhythm styles through DVIDA. He is also the co-founder of Mixed Motion Art Dance Academy (MMA), where he continues to refine his skills as both an instructor and competitive dancer.

Del is deeply committed to making dance more accessible and approachable for a wider community. Through his teaching, he encourages students to pursue excellence, share knowledge, and discover the joy of movement in a supportive and engaging environment.
