Mike Minery

Mike Minery

Mike Minery is a tap dancer, choreographer, and arts executive from New Jersey whose career spans performance, education, and tour leadership. Early on, he received the Princess Grace Dance Fellowship Award, which helped launch his professional path. He toured internationally as a soloist and company member with Manhattan Tap, gaining recognition for his rhythmic clarity and stage presence. His performance work also includes featured appearances at The Supper Club on Broadway in the 1940s-style revue This Joint Is Jumping. In addition, he founded the tap company Tapaholics, presenting his choreography to audiences nationwide.

In 2003, Mike joined the JUMP Dance Convention as an original faculty member, teaching and touring for 15 years. His commitment to dance education and touring operations led to his role as Tour Director from 2018 to 2024. In May 2024, he transitioned into a new leadership position as Executive Director of Tours for DanceOne, overseeing all convention tours and artist development.

Mike will soon be collaborating with Nan Giordano for Giordano Dance Chicago and is creating a new piece for the company, set to premiere in April 2026. His career continues to bridge artistic practice, mentorship, and organizational leadership within the dance community.
