Throughout the year, Nan Giordano and the GDC team interact with aspiring dancers through Giordano Experiences, Master Classes, Residencies, and more. Full workshop scholarships are given to dancers who stand out with exceptional technique and professional promise. GDC takes pride in cultivating the talent of passionate individuals, and we hope you'll take pride in bringing these dancers to Chicago to train with us.

I feel like I have learned more things in a week than I have in my entire dance career

Megan Littman

Workshop Attendee, Point Park University

So incredibly thankful to be included in a room with such high energy, inspiration, passion, definition, and most importantly love GDC has helped me realize the depth of dance and changed my perspective! Although this company shines a light on jazz dance, I feel as though it helped me grow in every style and even as a person. I'm so proud to have experienced training "from the soul" as Nan Giordano always says! The people I worked with are so unbelievably talented and they will continue to inspire me. I couldn't ask for a better way to build up to my career in the future.

Jeneneen Alsamsam

Teen Workshop Attendee

I learned so much and it really pushed me in new ways. I can’t wait for next year! Thank you so much!

Julia Kozlowski

Junior Light Award Recipient 2018, Extensions Dance Company

Thank you, Nan and the entire company for making Grace’s workshop experience so wonderful. She learned so much and I think challenged herself in ways she had not even imagined. On top of that she had fun and enjoyed the experience. Thank you so much for creating amazing experiences for young people- it makes all the difference in the world.

Molly McKillip
