Fernando Rodriguez, of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, is a main company member entering his fifth season with Giordano Dance Chicago. He attended Grand Valley State University and Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage. He has danced with River North Dance Chicago, Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre, Paramount Theatre (West Side Story), DITP, Owen/Cox Dance, Grand Rapids Ballet Company, dancing from South Korea to Lincoln Center in New York City. In 2016 Fernando became Resident Choreographer at Missouri Contemporary Ballet for 5 years. He won the 2019 Inaside Chicago Dance Choreography Competition with his piece, “Pass Me By.” Fernando also owns a photography business specializing in portrait and dance photography.
