Kimberly Prokurat started her training in tap, jazz, ballet, acrobatics, and modern in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. She later received training at Point Park University after being accepted into their BFA Dance program with a concentration in Jazz and a minor in Broadcast Journalism on scholarship. While at Point Park, Kimberly was privileged to perform various works from the minds of José Limón, Larry Keigwin, Jennifer Archibald, Helen Simoneau, Garfield Lemonius, Douglas Bentz, Kiesha Lalama and Matt Pardo. During her summers, Kimberly attended programs such as Perry Mansfield where she trained and performed works by Stacey Tookey and Dante Puleio. She has also trained at the Houston Met and the Point Park University International Summer Intensive on scholarship. After graduating, she joined Giordano Dance Chicago as a Gll and is excited to begin her second season as a Jr. Performing Associate. In addition to dancing, she is a published health and wellness writer and a certified group fitness instructor.
