Emma Kempson

Emma Kempson, originally from Los Angeles California, is thrilled to be in her 2nd season with Giordano Dance Chicago as a company member of Giordano II. In addition to dancing professionally, she teaches dance and choreographs nationwide. Emma is honored to be certified in all 5 levels of the Nan Giordano Certification Program. Emma attended the State University of New York at Purchase College and was selected to study abroad in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. In 2021 she graduated Summa Cum Laude, receiving her BFA in Dance and Minor in Arts Management. Over the years Emma has been fortunate enough to perform works by Olivia Ancona, Peter Chu, Francisco Gella, Ohad Naharin, Kia Smith and several other well renowned artists. In addition to performing, she has traveled worldwide for dance intensives including Joffrey (Chicago), Orsolina 28 (Italy), SHARE (Paris), and Alonzo King Lines (San Francisco). Emma is so grateful to be a part of Giordano’s 61st season!
