Ashley is a proud native of Lake Elmo, MN, where she graduated with honors from St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists.  She graduated magna cum laude from Point Park University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a concentration in Jazz.  While attending Point Park, Ashley had the privilege of training and performing a variety of works by Martha Graham, Kiesha Lalama, Ron Tassone, Garfield Lemonius, and Sidra Bell.  In addition to performing, she has also demonstrated an immense passion for teaching.  Ashley has had the privilege of being a part of GDC's Jazz Dance/Science and Health outreach program for the past four years, teaching and bringing the joy of dance and health to under-resourced Chicago Public Schools.  She has and continues to teach and choreograph for various studios in the Chicago area.  Recently, Ashley became certified in the Basic, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Level of NGCP® for the Giordano Technique.  This is Ashley’s sixth season as a main company member following one season as a GII and one season as a Performing Associate.  Ashley is so grateful for the constant love and support from her family and couldn't be more thrilled and honored to be a part of the wonderful family that is Giordano Dance Chicago!
