GIORDANO DANCE CHICAGO concludes its landmark 50th Anniversary Season
with an ALL-NEW Giordano Workshop June 21 - 23, 2013. Be part of the pulse of one of America’s greatest dance capitals! Located in the heart of the downtown dance corridor, the Giordano Workshop will take place at the Fine Arts Building and the Katten-Landau Studio at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University. This unique summer intensive with America's original jazz dance company will include Giordano technique and repertoire, leaps, turns, jumps, injury prevention, and wellness.

ELEVEN, 90-MINUTE CLASSES
Led by Artistic Director Nan Giordano, faculty includes Assistant Artistic Director Homer Bryant, Artistic Associate Autumn Eckman, and Company Members of Giordano Dance Chicago.

 

PRIVATE COMPANY PERFORMANCE
Registration includes a private, high-energy performance of Giordano Dance Chicago. Learn the critically-acclaimed repertoire and then see it performed live!

DRESS CODE
A student’s dress is a reflection of their discipline and respect for the art form. The following dress code allows our faculty to observe and correct the posture and alignment of the students. Please have a clean, elegant presentation in your look.

 

•             Tights, jazz pants, biker shorts with leotard (solid color or black preferred)
•             No “Booty shorts”
•             Hair pulled back in a pony tail or bun
•             Jazz shoes
•             Please do not bring your valuables to class
