Experience the Giordano Dance Chicago Workshop right in the heart of downtown Chicago.
Work closely with Nan Giordano, Homer Bryant, Autumn Eckman, and members of the Company. Classes will be held in 5 separate, beautiful dance studios at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and the Katten-Landau Studio at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University. This unique summer intensive with America's original jazz dance company will include Teacher Training Certification, Giordano Technique, Company Repertoire, Homer's unique floor ballet, leaps, turns, jumps, injury prevention, wellness, performance by the Company and more.

One Day-Teacher Training
Certification in Beginning Level Giordano Technique
Professional dance educators, age 20 and older
Five hour session
Wednesday, June 18
Teen | Adult Track
Intermediate dancers and above, ages 13 and older
Includes fourteen, 90 minute classes
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 19 to 22
One Day Teacher Training + Four Day Workshop
Wednesday to Sunday, June 18 to 22
Beginning to intermediate dancers, ages 10 to 12
Includes twelve, one hour classes
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 19 to 21

On-site check-in begins each day at 8:30 AM at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University at 218 South Wabash Avenue.
The Giordano Workshop is not a function of Roosevelt University.

Saturday, June 21 Workshop participants will receive
free admission to an informal, in-studio performance
by Giordano Dance Chicago.
A student’s dress is a reflection of their discipline and respect for the art form. The following dress code allows our faculty to observe and correct the posture and alignment of the students. Please have a clean, elegant presentation in your look.
Tights, jazz pants, or biker shorts with leotard (solid color or black

• Hair pulled back in a pony tail or bun
