You have come to know Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago (GJDC) for its high-energy, high-impact dance. Ours is a spectacular fusion of athleticism and artistry that wows the spirit and stirs the soul, and we are embarking on an extraordinary season filled with artistic, educational and organizational achievement!

But did you also know that there are great changes in the works for this world-renowned dance company? This is the year that Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago intends to fulfill the dream of founder and legend Gus Giordano to reside in the heart of Chicago. That’s right: we will be moving from Evanston into the center of Chicago’s vibrant dance community. Imagine the possibilities of GJDC in a new home, a new space. Announcements about specific plans will be forthcoming, but now is the time for us to get ready to take this momentous leap.

This is your chance to help in a very specific way. A long-standing contributor has given $10,000 to Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago to prepare us for the initial costs of moving to and occupying a new space. That means that we are one third of the way to our goal. Please consider a donation of any size to help triple the generous contribution received to date. Help us to make $10,000 become $30,000.

Of course, contributions of any amount help us to build the funds to make relocation possible. But as a thank you and added incentive, for any contribution at the $500 level or above, we will give you two VIP tickets to GJDC’s Harris Theater performances in October 2011. There is no better way to see the fruits of your contribution than to watch GJDC on the stage.
